Before swimming lessons I took the girls on a hike up Heise and had a picnic. I was a little skeptical to go though because as I began up the trail there was a sign that said watch out for rattle snakes. I didn't have a phone and there wasn't another adult nearby but luckily we were all okay and had a great time!
Kylie and Jacie decided to venture off the trail and go on their own hike.
We didn't see any snakes but we did see a lizard.

At the top of the trail is a waterfall. We stopped and took a break and played in the water.
